Our material artist has made good progress with materials; he has created preliminary materials which I have given feedback to as art lead. He has currently made good progress on the stone materials for structures and the thatch as these are the models that are nearing completion. We need to carry out some tests for the thatch to see how it looks on the roof (it may need individual planes and opacity adjustments).
Designer Materials
Our programmer has worked on bug fixes and has implemented a laser that allows the player to see where they are pointing with the controller. He is also working on some performance tests for the Chiripa structures.
The Akapana is hoping to be completed by this week or next, the semi-subterranean temple modelling should be nearing completion in 2 weeks time as well.
