This week the interns have officially started work; unfortunately we have had a few technical issues resulting in the inability to access some computers in the VR lab. Until this issue is revolved, we may have an inadequate amount of workstations to support Monday and Friday meetings so fixing this is of top priority. Friday, we also plan to establish the VR group as a University society which could result in some additional funding for the group; furthermore we will be visiting the Aurora building to start the process of creating video blogs. This will allow us to film the members working and offer an in depth view at the team and the project as a whole.
The team has made more progress on the UI, with an in depth discussion in the GDD document. Oue concept artist is also working on some animated icons to help show the player what controls to use (as we want this to be an easy to pick up VR experience).

The Chiripa sight is nearing completion with the courtyard and structures entering the baking phase. Our project manager will also be taking a look at these assets to ensure they are as accurate as they can be.

Baking will also allow the artists to identify any mesh errors such as incorrect world positioning or UV mapping.
Until we have full access to the computers in the VR lab, one of the new interns is working on creating some artifacts alongside a foundation student who is helping out to fill the museum. These currently consist of two snuff trays.
