The team visited the recently discovered Teesside Archives, surprisingly just a ten minute walk from the Teesside University campus. The archive has a treasure trove of documents related to the Cleveland area - specifically for us Saltburn and the Zetland Hotel. While the team did not uncover the original 1861 architectural drawings, we found several supporting plans for construction proposals from the 1960's, 70's and 80's. We've also discovered Saltburn City Centre photography and various legal correspondences. The staff was wonderful, helpful and patient with us.
