Tony has kindly put us in contact with Mr. Peter Harrison of Marske. Peter was the model railway enthusiast who built the Saltburn Railway Model displayed in one of the photos that Tony had provided to us after our first visit.
Peter was kind enough to invite us into his home in Marske on Saturday October 26th. The team was not ready for the scale of the model - 8.5 metres! The model not only encompasses Saltburn but also the nearby Redcar Central Railstation as well. Peter advised he may be able to put us in contact with a friend who worked in the Zetland Hotel prior to the 1980 flat conversion. The team was excited to hear about that possibility!
